What People Expect

People think partial acceptance of findings will be treated as progress.

Court Reality

The court looks at which findings are still denied, not just how many are accepted. In a 2026 case, the judge said disputing one finding out of many might not stop progress. Where whole categories of finding remain denied, and the accepted ones are the easier ones to admit, the court may doubt how far the parent has really reflected on their behaviour.
