What People Expect

People assume the court papers are consistent.

Court Reality

PD 27A and the Financial Remedies Guide expect an electronic, paginated PDF of no more than 350 pages. The Bundles Guide for Litigants in Person (paras 7.1 and 7.2) says the judge decides whether the bundle is electronic or paper, electronic is the default, and a paper bundle should be no more than one A4 file of 175 sheets (350 sides). Some court packs ask for both a "paper bundle" and a bundle "indexed with hyperlinks" in the same set of papers. Rules and orders differ here: check your own order. If your papers do not match, ask the court well before the deadline.
